The Lost River's selection of handmade batik clothing supports small family businesses both in Bali and in Moab. Traditional batik patterns are handed down over generations.  The pattern is drawn on the fabric and then wax is applied to the fabric on these patterns with a canting or "wax pen."   The fabric is then dyed and the wax removed revealing the pattern.  The use of hand batik fabrics from Indonesia is  preserving Indonesian culture and artisan traditions.

Love these tunics!

I added this tunic to my collection of similar tops from Lost River. They are comfortable, pretty, and wash very nicely. Highly recommend them.

Lost River Batik 3/4 sleeve tunic

I bought 2 of your tunics a few years ago in Santa Fe, NM. Loved them so much I ordered 4 more this year. I preferred the non crinkle fabric of 1 I bought a few years ago to the crinkled fabric you used today, but still love the tops.

tunic

I usually like Lost River clothing but the tunic was a very dark and drab color (darker than I expected) and the fabric was a bit rough. I returned it.
