These sweaters are designed by Daniel and Marlena who live in Carabuela, Ecuador. They are knitted by a group of artisan also living in Carabuela. The Otavalo region where Carabuela is located is a major center for Ecuadorian traditional crafts, this project works to maintain and grow this tradition so that these artisan can continue to prosper. This project is certified by the Fair Trade Federation.
