Ethiopian Towels

Fair Trade Ethiopian Towels

If you liked our Turkish towels, come take a look at our new Ethiopian Towels!  They are much softer, made with hand spun cotton.  Thee towels are still large in size and lightweight with excellent absorbancy.  They also dry very quickly which is great for Florida. These towels would make an excellent fair trade wedding gift.

Sabahar, our Fair Trade Ethiopian partner, promotes fair trade textile production in Ethiopia while increasing reliable, sustainable income for households and skilled artisans.   The women employed at Sabahar hand spin the cotton yarn using drop spindles and traditional spinning wheels. The men weave using traditional methods to transform the cotton into one-of-a-kind handwoven, fair trade towels.
